In the first quarter of 2025, the top photography apps in Romania showed varied performance trends across downloads, revenue, and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

FaceApp: Perfect Face Editor experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting the year at around $62.8K and peaking at $71.6K in the first week of January, before settling around $60.3K by the end of March. The app saw a decline in downloads from 4.8K to around 3.9K, with a slight uptick to 5K in late March. Active users peaked at 51K in late January but decreased to 33.6K by quarter's end.

Remini - AI Photo Enhancer recorded a significant jump in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 57K in early February. Revenue increased notably, peaking at $18.6K in mid-February, while active users rose to 29.5K before dropping to 12.5K by the end of the quarter.

Lightroom Photo & Video Editor maintained a steady weekly revenue, fluctuating around $5.5K. Downloads remained relatively low but stable, ranging from 1.4K to 3K, while active users hovered around 33.5K, with a slight increase towards the end of March.

Finally, Photoroom AI Photo Editor saw modest revenue growth, peaking at $2.9K in early March. Downloads remained below 2K weekly, while active users decreased from 10K to approximately 6.2K over the quarter.
